Business Launch Boot Camp #18 diviskin

Business: DIVISKIN Men LLC

How did you get the idea for your business?

Initial idea was to launch a women’s skin care line. After some marketing research discovered there was a growing demand for men’s skin care.

What was the state of your business before RMMFI?

Before RMMFI DIVISKIN Men LLC was just an idea.

What is one thing you would like people to know about you and/or your business?

My daily practices of self-care has gotten me closer to my dreams in a relatively short period of time. I believe DIVISKIN Men is an opportunity for me to lead my own life and be an example. More men are showing interest in self-care practices that go beyond the gym. The goal is to present a product that men can trust and feel confident using.

What is your favorite holiday cookie and/or treat?

Gluten free oatmeal raisin cookies and peppermint candies, especially covered in chocolate =)

Business Launch Boot Camp #17made wild

Business: Made Wild

How did you get the idea for your business?

“I always wanted to work for myself. I tried many avenues including graphic design, social media management, and more. Finally, after torturing myself for long enough, I decided to pursue what I always really wanted to do. As a kid I designed clothing, wrote books, created storefronts, and dreamed of one day owning my own business. A little over a year ago I just thought, “why not?” My husband Gilbert and I began crafting what ultimately became Made Wild – a place to find exclusive clothing, gifts, and goods!

What was the state of your business before RMMFI?

“Made Wild was an idea with a flawed business plan before RMMFI. The team at RMMFI helped keep me accountable to actually launching the business.

What is one thing you would like people to know about you and/or your business?

“We’re a husband-husband team and we’re trying to create the products we want to see in the world.”

Favorite Holiday cookie and/or treat?

“Eggnog – spiked.”
