A few weeks ago, we celebrated the newest entrepreneurs to complete RMMFI’s Business Idea Lab with a Spanish-language cohort in Montrose. Fifteen aspiring small business owners pitched their business ideas as the culmination of the 5-session program. While this is just the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey, these entrepreneurs have shown inspiring growth as they formalized their business ideas and built confidence in their vision.
This was our second Spanish-language Idea Lab in West Central Colorado. We’re excited not only to be serving a new region of the state but also to be doing so with Spanish-language programming; language should not be a barrier to access for otherwise talented, motivated, and innovative entrepreneurs. Thank you to our partners, the West Central Small Business Development Center and the Hispanic Affairs Project, for helping us bring this program to Montrose and provide holistic, relevant, community-centered support to the region’s budding entrepreneurs.
