RMMFI has been growing quickly as we continue investing in our own potential to support more entrepreneurs and communities across the state. With so many new roles and faces, we wanted to introduce you to the seven newest members of the RMMFI team. We’re excited for each of these individuals to activate their talents and passion to further the reach and impact of our work.

AP BaldrichAP Baldrich, Operations Coordinator

Hello! My name is Ana Paulina or AP for short. I’m from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and I moved to Denver about four years ago for university. I’m passionate about helping others succeed and working in the behind-the-scenes of a nonprofit, so I’m lucky to have found a job at RMMFI as the Operations Coordinator after graduation. I studied International Studies and Geography and love learning about other cultures, languages, and sustainability! In my free time, I enjoy hiking, skiing, and listening to financial podcasts.

Pablo Saavedra, Site Activation CoordinatorPablo Saavedra

My name is Pablo, and I’m the new Site Activation Coordinator. As a bootcamp graduate (I graduated last July), I use my insight to help fellow entrepreneurs and mentors at our two newest sites in Westwood and the San Luis Valley. Helping other entrepreneurs achieve their dreams makes me happy. I have a bachelor’s in communications and a background in film and television administration, and I’m in the middle of my MBA. I’m originally from Colombia, and in my free time I’m learning how to play the drums and improving my salsa dancing skills.

John BJohn Bellamy, Capital Coordinator

I’m John, and I consider myself a Colorado native as I’ve spent most of my life here. I grew up in the old Park Hill neighborhood, and while earning a master’s in liberal studies, I began teaching elementary students. After 17 years in education, including adult education, I transitioned to nonprofit work, and I’m excited to continue assisting those in the community as RMMFI’s new Capital Coordinator. I like movies, books, working out, and podcasting. I’m currently working on a fiction book, and I also enjoy riding motorcycles (when the roads are safe).

Linda Xiong, Impact ManagerLinda

Hi, I’m Linda. Originally from the Midwest, I’m a daughter of Hmong refugees. I love making textiles, reading, and spending time outside with my partner. I started my career in corporate retail and switched to nonprofit to work in, with, and for my community. As the Impact Manager, I’m excited to support RMMFI’s data collection and reporting systems and use what we learn to build better programs.

LaRae Martinez 1LaRae Martinez, Outreach Manager

My name is LaRae, and my family has been in the Denver area since the 1400s. I’ve worked in a variety of industries (including social services, laboratory sciences, taxes, and banking), and I’m completing a bachelor’s in digital audiences from ASU. I’m the owner of 52EightyEnt Marketing, a RMMFI graduate, and a volunteer mentor, and I’ve also served on the Bamboo Club Leadership Team. With all the knowledge I have picked up from my experiences and education, I’m excited to be RMMFI’s Outreach Manager to have a hand in creating economic mobility and making dreams come true!

Brand’i Stewart, Partnership CoordinatorBrandi Stewart

Hello, I’m Brand’i. I was born in Denver and received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and criminal justice from Dillard University-NOLA and a master’s in the art of teaching at the University of Phoenix-Lone Tree. Before becoming a small business entrepreneur (I am the owner of Octeavia’s and a RMMFI graduate), I worked in teaching and tutoring, IT, and property management. I am at my best working with people and have always been in the business of serving others, and I’m excited to support my fellow entrepreneurs as RMMFI’s new Partnership Coordinator.

Laura Delgado SutterfieldLaura Delgado-Sutterfield, Placement Coordinator

I’m Laura, but friends and family call me Lau. I am Colombian and have been in the US for four years. I’m passionate about culture, people, and their life stories. Joining RMMFI as a Placement Coordinator is such an important milestone in my life since I always wanted to be part of a team whose mission aligned with my professional goals and personal values. I love learning new things, sharing new ideas and life perspectives, running with my dog, having tea, long conversations, little details, and traveling.
