Literary Citizen: Writers Shaping Culture was created with the intention of connecting with writers, artists, thinkers and creatives who are and who wish to work towards positive social change on many fronts.

At LC, we aim to cultivate community without the need to corral that community. We strive to open doors towards powerful tools and resources so that community, stories, and generated conversations will, when they are ready, ripple, creating quite possibly (and hopefully) waves.

We want to be much more than a creative eddy where “community” means clique. At LC, we proactively cast off insularity.

LC works to promote what we love by amplifying how and what we can without letting the voices who may choose to speak on our platform simply tick down the feed.
