Areas supported: startup and growth loans, startup grants, loan forgiveness grants, rural support grants, and technical assistance Historically marginalized communities have suffered the most in terms of loss of employment and the number of small businesses able to continue operations. Denver Economic Development & Opportunity is partnering with the Colorado Center on Law and Policy and many other local nonprofits to offer small businesses dependable support in navigating the many funding streams, programs, and services available to them in Denver. This program focuses on outreach efforts to Denver’s hardest-to-reach communities. Areas supported: Spanish-language programming in Westwood The Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) plays an important role in generating economic growth and opportunity.
